Tailor Executive Search is a Brazilian executive search firm specialized in headhunting C-level executives, directors and senior leaders. With offices in Belo Horizonte and São Paulo, it serves companies across Brazil, Latin America and abroad.
Our story
Tailor was founded in 2019 in Belo Horizonte by Bruno da Matta Machado, Ana Cláudia Miranda and Fernanda Nogueira. The idea was to do headhunting in a consultative, tailor-made way, with partners and senior consultants involved in every stage of each search.
It pioneered executive headhunting for major Brazilian football clubs and grew serving companies in mining, steel, energy, construction, healthcare, education, technology, agribusiness, financial services and the legal market, among other sectors.
Today Tailor has served more than 600 companies, has active clients in 16 Brazilian states, has conducted searches in 5 countries and has a team of 36 professionals. Besides executive search, it runs Made for Lawyers, dedicated to the legal market, YOU, by Tailor, for human and organizational development, and the Instituto Tailor, which receives 1.5% of what clients pay and supports 5 organizations in Minas Gerais and São Paulo.

Every search starts with a diagnosis of the company, its culture and the role, and follows a proprietary method adapted from ghSMART: a scorecard for the role, active hunting, Topgrading interviews, behavioral assessment and background checks. The first shortlist is delivered in 15 business days on average, and every hire comes with a 180-day guarantee.
